Employee Focus
As a private and locally-owned veterinary practice, we promote a personalized and staff-centered work environment. We adhere to high standards of care without the common burdens of many corporate practices. Though we have protocols and standards of care, our doctors are allowed to do what they feel is best for the patient. We schedule our appointments flexible compared to industry standards. This gives us more time to offer personalized care to every patient without feeling rushed.
We enable our staff to provide the highest quality of care with access to the latest state-of-the-art equipment such as ultrasound, therapeutic (cold) laser, digital radiology, dental radiology, CO2 surgical laser, Bluetooth patient monitoring systems, and IDEXX in-house laboratory.
Collaboration on Medical and Surgical Cases
Staff Training and Goals
Most of our great ideas come from our employees. We encourage feedback and welcome our team to help us improve our standards of care. As a team, we meet frequently to review processes and discuss challenges we face in providing optimal care for patients and convenient services to our clients. We are committed to being the best veterinary hospital in the East Valley. Despite our excellent google reviews, we are never fully satisfied. We will always try to provide the best services and products in the most cost-effective, convenient, and professional manner.
Benefits
One of the greatest assets we have is the stability of staff at Oasis Animal Hospital. Many of our team members have been employed here for over 10 years. One of the reasons is the benefits. Here is a plug for our Benefits coordinator, Doug Gray. He continually works with us to fine tune our health care insurance strategy and contain costs. As a privately owned practice, we offer very generous pay and benefits that go above and beyond many other practices.
It can be challenging to deal with complicated medical and surgical cases alone. Most veterinarians appreciate having a “second set of eyes” to validate our approach to cases. We have a team of very experienced doctors that welcome communication and feedback on cases. Additionally, no one wants to be in the office all of the time. We assist each other in covering cases when someone is out of the office.
