Dr. Charles Salemi (Charlie) joined the Oasis staff as a doctor in 2010. He has however been apart of the Oasis team long before as a technician while in college. In 2020, Dr. Salemi became an owner along with Dr. Tenney, of Oasis Animal Hospital. Dr. Salemi is a native Arizonan and grew up in the East Valley attending Hamilton High School. Afterward, he attended the University of Arizona where he played goaltender for the lacrosse team and obtained his degree in Veterinary Science. Dr. Salemi then went on to study at Colorado State University for his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He has been married to Rachel Salemi since 2007. They are the proud parents of a lovely daughter, Clara, and son, William. Rachel has a Master’s degree in Music Therapy and is currently the Choral Music director at their church. His professional interests include feline and canine dentistry, cardiology, including canine heartworm disease, and dermatology. Outside of work, Dr. Salemi is an avid sports fan and enjoys reading books on history.
