Dr. Boyce is a central Illinois native and grew up in a veterinary family. Some of his earliest memories are of riding around on farm calls with his father or his grandfather. He studied sculpture and biology at the University of Illinois at Springfield and received his bachelor’s degree in 1999. After obtaining his doctorate of veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003, he practiced small animal medicine in Illinois for 10 years. Dr. Boyce moved to Arizona and joined Oasis in May of 2013. Dr. Boyce is especially passionate about dentistry, preventative medicine, and weight management. When not working, Dr. Boyce is an avid gardener and loves ultra-hot pepper varieties such as the ghost and Trinidad scorpion.  Dr. Boyce enjoys cooking, baking, and pickling and has been fine-tuning his own fermented pepper sauce for the last 5 years. More recently, Dr. Boyce has started home brewing and is very active in the Phoenix homebrew scene. He is an avid gardener.
