From a young age, Dr. Chen knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and work to improve their wellbeing and quality of life. With this goal in mind, and to experience weather, she left sunny California to complete her undergraduate degree in Raleigh, North Carolina. Immediately following graduation, she moved back to the west coast to obtain her veterinary degree at Midwestern University. After graduation, Dr. Chen pursued a small animal rotating internship at a multi-speciality hospital in the Valley before working in private practice, emergency medicine, and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Chen is excited to meet your fur-kids and make sure they have the best life possible. In her free time, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with her family, training for triathlons, rock climbing, baking, and reading.
